The Book of Ephesians is a letter Paul wrote to encourage believers to see themselves as part of God’s big family—united by Jesus, no matter their backgrounds or differences. Paul explains that Christ has brought people from all nations together and is building a new kind of community, filled with love, peace, and purpose. Ephesians teaches us that God’s grace is a gift for everyone and that, because of Jesus, we now belong to one body—the Church. Paul encourages believers to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling,” showing kindness, patience, and forgiveness in everyday life. He gives practical advice for family and relationships, and reminds us that, through the Holy Spirit, we have the power to live in a new way—with unity, gratitude, and courage.
The letter ends by reminding us that we’re in a spiritual battle and need God’s armor to stand strong in our faith. Through Ephesians, we learn how to live as God’s new people—loved, equipped, and united in Christ.
