Serving God Through Your Work (Colossians 3:23–24)

The Book of Colossians is a letter Paul wrote while in prison to Christians he had never met. He wanted to encourage their faith and correct some false teachings that were causing confusion. In this short letter, Paul describes Jesus in beautiful ways, showing that He is God and the creator of everything. The first part of Colossians tells us who Jesus is, while the second part shows how to live with Jesus as our Lord.
These devotionals highlight Paul’s important message: in a world full of different beliefs and ideas, Jesus alone deserves our complete devotion. Through Colossians, we learn that Christ is enough for every need we have and should be at the center of our lives, families, and work.
